All I've ever known myself to be is Leslie Ann Lemburg, and now I am officially Leslie Ann Caldwell.
It kind of made me feel like I was losing my identity, and in a way, I think I am. In a good way. We are now two people joined together as one in Christ. Marriage is a covenant, and name change is a sign of covenant (Abram-Abraham, Sarai-Sarah). Like these, I am given a new name.
I will always be my parent's daughter. I will always be a sister. I will always be Leslie. But now, I am also a wife. Now, I have my own family.
In all the difficulty, I still am reminded that God has great things in store for us and our marriage, and I am excited about all the things God has planned for our little Caldwell family!
